Motivating Sustainable Consumption - a review of evidence on con

Jackson, T.

This document is an ambitious attempt to review the somewhat unmanageable literature on consumer behaviour and behavioural change. The broad aim of the review was to achieve two things: firstly, to provide a bibliographic resource offering some kind of access to the extensive academic

literature on consumer behaviour, pro-environmental consumer behaviour and behavioural change; secondly, to draw out from this literature some of the possible policy avenues for influencing consumer behaviour towards sustainable consumption.
