Agenda 21
United Nations
Agenda 21 consists of programs, which contain objectives, activities and means. Programs are intended to stimulate the international economy to provide a supportive international climate for achieving environment and development goals. The programs are divided in three sections: social and economic dimensions, conservation and management of resources for development, strengthening the role of major groups.
The aim of agenda 21 is to explain and to come to global collective action (a global partnership) to solve/stop:
1.perpetuation of disparities between and within nations;
2.worsening of poverty, hunger, ill health and illiteracy;
3.the continuing deterioration of the ecosystems on which we depend for our well-being.
